MIDAC Solutions is seeking a Junior IT Professional for a full-time consulting position to help augment our growing team. Reporting to a senior team leader, the candidate shall perform daily tasks as assigned such as (but not limited to):

• Providing operational support to existing clients as required
• Providing onsite support for support calls that cannot be resolved over the telephone or via remote support.
• Maintaining documented processes and procedures for upkeep of production environment
• Participating as a member of an on-call operational support team, providing after hours support when on call

Requirements:

• Must have intermediate- strong experience with Windows NT/2000/2003/2008, Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
• Experience with Active Directory design and management.
• Exposure to Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010.
• Working knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) and Small Business Server (SBS) 2003, 2008 an asset.
• Experience providing previous consulting services is considered an asset.

Education & Experience:

• Industry Certifications, e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft, etc. are considered an asset
• Knowledge of network topologies and protocols TCP/IP, SMTP, TCP, DNS
• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of IT working experience
